As part of the XVII International Conference "Doing Agribusiness in Ukraine," which will take place on December 11 in Kyiv, the online publication AgroPortal.ua, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, will present a thematic craft zone.
In the craft zone, attendees will be able to explore local products from the "Incredible Craft Bag" — an online platform that brings together products from the finalists of the "Incredible Villages of Ukraine" competition and participants of the "Instafarmers" project.
Creating such zones at key agricultural events is our opportunity to introduce agribusiness representatives to craft products. Promoting them is our social mission, and we want to involve as many people as possible, because it is the development of local processing that creates added value, supports communities, and builds the country's food security.
Event participants will have the chance to discover 10 products from the bag, namely:● candied fruits from a small, incredible village in the Dnipropetrovsk region;● acorn coffee from a Kharkiv eco-village;● meat jerky from a veteran in the Lviv region;● functional tea from a 4th-generation herbalist in the Kyiv region;● dried and pickled snails from a farmer in the Khmelnytskyi region;● hemp energy bars made to NATO standards by Viteo Hemp;● black fermented garlic from Dnipro;● lavender oil from a Poltava eco-estate;● cream honeys from a relocated apiary in the Cherkasy region;● the most expensive salo in Ukraine, from the Poltava region.
In addition to the presentation, the AgroPortal.ua craft zone will host a tasting of the "most expensive salo in Ukraine" produced by the Poltava-based company Zolata Sota.
